I love being with the ladies in the morning whilst preparations are made and the time for the wedding ceremony draws near; this is a very special time and I feel privileged to be a part of it, although I am always careful to blend in to the background (Notice no one is looking at the camera).

The first set of four images show Steph getting in to her beautiful wedding dress upstairs with the help of her bridesmaids, the mood was really happy and playful - even her Dad Fran had a good laugh when he saw his daughter in her dress for the first time.

The next set of four pictures were taken moments afterwards, when Steph made her way down stairs to await the wedding car that was to take her to the church. I've used black and white here, not only because of the light but because of the mood in the room. You could almost feel the tension mounting as the time of the wedding ceremony drew nearer and nearer.

The third image here is my favourite; Steph is surrounded by people yet feels almost isolated in the centre of the room, her hands nervously clasped across her waist, with the clock showing less than five minutes to go until the car arrives to take her to church on her wedding day. These are images that you can feel rather than just see.
